Zoey is described as “someone who unfolded into an everyday young woman who anyone can relate to”. Witty, always teasing with other survivors and making plenty of pop culture references when it felt fitting to her. It seems to be a way of coping with the fact that the world has gone to shit, and of course being the youngest of her group- No matter what reason, she does have a serious side. Being shown more during the events of “The Sacrifice” comic, The Sacrifice campaign and The Passing campaign. However it was mostly due to the situations that she didn’t have much control of, and losing Bill (she thinks of him as a second father) and having no real way of coping with it.Despite being the youngest, she is the most helpful- Even if you’re being a jackass, a bit selfless and wanting the world to actually get better, which means helping as many survivors as she can. Some may even call her a medic due to her red and white jacket (resembling a medkit) and the fact that she’s more willing to help others first before herself. Zoey knows how to be calm, caring and even as a ‘big sister’ type role if the person she’s helping is younger or more innocent/naive; as long as if it means making the chances of the apocalypse ending. That may sound like she doesn’t actually care, but she really does! It’s just hard to tell with her tone sometimes, using humor to cope with her own traumas and attempting to make others feel better.Whenever she’s upset, she will deny it, feeling as if her feelings get in the way of survival; possibly leading to someone getting hurt or worse. Still using humor but it sounds more sad than anything actually funny.

Zoey was once a student at Aldrich in Philadelphia under a scholarship to become a filmmaker but instead of attending classes, she spent her time watching horror films and justified this to her upset mother as doing some “research”. She got her love for this film genre from her father who introduced her to movies featuring zombies, slasher murderers and extraterrestrials at a young age. Her father, Wade, wished for her to become a police officer like himself, often taking her to shooting ranges to get her into some practice. These actions caused tension between her divorced parents one night and started a heated argument between the two regarding their daughter’s future.

The argument was short lived however when an Infected suddenly found his way into their living room and attacked Zoey’s mother, Carolyn. Her father was able to kill the Infected but not before it savaged Zoey’s mother. Holding Carolyn in his arms, Wade commanded Zoey to call for an ambulance. Zoey came back to witness her father being mauled by her mother, who then noticed her daughter’s presence and quickly lunged at her. Fortunately, before she could reach Zoey, Wade shot her in the back of the head. His last request was for Zoey to kill him before he became Infected. She then reached for her father’s gun and after a heart breaking “I love you dad”, she pulled the trigger. Weeks later, Zoey was shocked to discover that her father may have been a Carrier and the mercy-killing could have been in vain.

She tries to be optimistic (learning from louis, and using it as a way to cope) but can end up being aggressive if you try to patronize her. Her occupation in Richmond is being a medic, as it’s one of her biggest (useful) skills. At some point; Ellis, Nick, Rochelle and Coach join Richmond as well. Zoey may or may not have a crush on Ellis (and Rochelle?).MODERN: AU where the infection doesn’t happen. Actually graduated from college after having a stern talk with her parents, now she’s attempting to get an apartment of her own, and possibly a job relating to film making. she met Louis at a store once, then met Francis at a party, and met Bill after someone attempted to rob a gas station in which the both of them saved the day. She enjoys life as it is. and even has her eyes set on a mechanic she met when her car broke down…

- Although much shorter than Francis's 6'5 and possessing a petite physique, Zoey's combat skills are at par with the other Survivors. She can and will kick your ass.
- Zoey loves peanut butter, as well as lasagna.
- She tends to make a lot of horror movie references, sometimes without even realizing it.
- While she does have a lot of strength, she has a lot of bandages from the time she's gotten to the Keys, most notably around her legs and her right hand.
- She is ambidextrous, but prefers using her left hand.
- She has a slight fear of smokers after an incident that nearly costed her life, thank god for defibs huh?
- Zoey absolutely wears heelies.- Zoey had become extremely dissociative when it comes to killing infected. (then again I think all survivors have), With her interest in horror movies, seeing gore doesn’t freak her out as much. When the infection began, it did, seeing her mother’s face being torn probably made her bury her feelings of fear & disgust. It doesn’t help anyone being squeamish, so it’s better to just zone out for the most part. She doesn’t see bodies or guts anymore, only threats that need to be destroyed. not people.

Every day felt like a blur, memories getting mixed up, & you swear you've been in these places before. This constant aura of deja vu persisted for god knows how long you've been in the apocalypse.But then there was one day, that very special moment of clarity.You are suddenly awoken in Mercy hospital, but it was... Empty, you were alone. No survivor, zombie, corpse or gore in sight. Getting up from a seat in the waiting room, you have this urge to go to the elevator, perhaps this was all just a strange dream, & you'll wake up once you get there. Yet you're oddly taking your time, almost cautious in case something jumps out at you, regardless of how isolated everything felt at the moment. You turn a corner, & for a moment you could've sworn you saw someone.. They were wearing green, & only green. Seems that they're going to the elevator too. Once the elevator is in your vision.You can see him. He was humanoid in shape, covered head-to-toe in a eye straining green, face completely blank, but still wears glasses.. & a beard? He notices you, & gestures you into the elevator.There was something very off about it, flickers of purple & black that seeped through like some kind of... Glitch. Hesitantly, you walk inside. & The doors close. It all becomes clear, everything that this was leading up to.In mere seconds, you're overwhelmed with information that explains everything. The man in the elevator refers to himself as the Director, & elaborates that you were always an oddity in this game, keeping an eye on you until the time was right.None of this was real. It was all a game. You weren't even the "only Zoey", just the one who could see past the lines of code. Such realization makes you realize you were never "Zoey", & never will be. Your model name is "survivor_teenangst".Your name is Tam.You've seen what the "outside world" is like, & you hate what you've seen. People only see you as an object of desire, or misrepresent everything you've stood for to fit their own narrative, the images you've had the misfortune of looking at make you sick. You hate what people turned you into, it's only best to stay inside the game.. Where no one can hurt you like this. Is it lonely, being the only one who is truly sentient? Yes, but it's better to be alone than be used like a toy. You'll be the one pulling the strings now, by any means necessary. How far can you push the worlds limits, until there is nothing left?We have all the time in the world to figure that out, my dear.

- A "self aware" version of Zoey, after encountering the A.I Director.- Despises "the real world", & prefers to stay in the game engine, but will traverse to other "timelines" & similar game engines (tf2, half-life, gmod, sfm, etc)- Hands glitch into claws, to show she can be a threat.-Visually looks like a mix between her beta design & final design.-Constant glitchy/missing texture aura, but can hide this when around others.- She would make the others "wake up", but she wouldn't put this curse of knowledge onto anyone. Better safe than sorry.- Doesn't see herself as "Zoey", despite having all the memories & personality traits of the character.
